Dr. Richard Idowu Adekola was born decades ago into the family of Engr and Mrs Ademola Idowu of Alabi Liasu Compound in Ejigbo, Ejigbo Local Government Area of the State of Osun.

He had his primary Education at NEPA Staff School, Egbin, Ikorodu Lagos and his Secondary School Education at Oriwu Model College, Ikorodu, Lagos

Dr. Richard A. Idowu proceeded to the prestigious University of Ilorin, Nigeria where he graduated with B.Sc. in Mathematics. His quest for more knowledge made him move to the United States where he gained admission to study Mathematics and Statistics at the Louisiana State University and in 2009, he obtained his Masters in statistics.

He thereafter at the same Louisiana Tech University, Ruston L A, USA put in for his Doctorate degree in Computational Analysis & Modeling and in 2012 was awarded PhD in computational Analysis and Modeling. Shortly after he was awarded PhD, he worked as a Post-Doctorate Research Associate at Louisiana Tech University –Mathematics and Statistics in collaboration with Center for Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation Science.

During his days in the graduate program, he was a Research Assistant where he worked on several research projects analyzing various data sets. Moreover, he presented his research works at reputable conferences within the U.S. He has also published several articles.

Currently he is an Associate Professor of Mathematics & Statistics at Praire View A & M University, Houston Texas, a position he has been occupying since 2016. He has as well taught various undergraduates and graduates in Mathematics and Statistics courses both at Louisiana Tech University & Praire View A & M University.

Other Professional Certificates he has bagged include; Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master ( PSM)

Furthermore, his strong desire to give back to the society that produced him, his love to see people achieve their dreams, providing the same opportunity he had for others, being the voice of the voiceless, rekindling the hope of the hopeless and Championing the course of a common man by improving the family life are the core reasons he created a platform called RAI GLOBAL TRUST FOUNDATION to serve as an outlet to reach out to the World.

RAI GLOBAL TRUST FOUNDATION under the leadership of Dr. Richard Adekola Idowu is a non governmental organization created to alleviate poverty in our society and give the people hope. Since its creation, it has been serving the purpose for which it was created and there are evidences to show for it. The giant strides and successes that has been recorded through this foundation would be contained in the next episode.
