Dr. Richard Adekola Idowu, a United States of America-based Nigerian lecturer, has been wrongly shot dead in the Ejigbo area of Osun State, Nigeria on evening of Saturday, January 27th, 2024, after the 50th coronation anniversary of the town traditional ruler, which the deceased came from his base (Richmond, Texas) in the United States of America.

The family of Dr. Richard Adekola Idowu is requesting support to obtain justice and make funeral arrangements. He was brutally murdered in Nigeria and taken from us too soon. He did not deserve to be executed and suffer in the manner he did. He left behind a wife, children, aged parents and siblings that deeply loved him.
